The museum presents the important archaeological documentation found in the Vulture-Melfese district; these are mainly funerary objects characterized by refined ceramics with geometric decoration, bronze armors, precious ornaments in silver, gold and amber, bronze vases of both Greek and Etruscan production, monumental vases with polychrome decoration with applied figures, some canvases, telero representing the State of Melfi and an extraordinary marble sarcophagus with relief decoration.
Theke has made a good part of the interior design, including the bookshop, the didactic panels, the ramp for the disabled, chairs and tables but above all two models of display cases: the lift case with vertical sliding opening system and a special personalized model with front opening.
